Guild Wars

anyone playing guild wars at the moment?

I've just got the game and I'm loving it
(i finally got bored of Neverwinter nights after 4 years)

it plays like nwn but has much better graphics, loads of quests and a huge amount of players plus its totally free (except the game itself of course which i picked up in gamestation for £14.99 i got two lol one for me and one for Mikey lol)

i have to buy another copy next week for my little brother lol

I'm still playing prophecies as i haven't got any expansion packs yet

but if anyone wants to play with me and Mikey let me know and we can arrange to meet up in game

i ahve heard good things about this game, but haven't had time to get it. besides, i just gave away my pc, so if i cna't play it on my macs i am out.

it works on a mac

so get the game and i'll set you up with some decent weapons and help you get your armour and do quests

okay, two of my friends are downloading guild wars right now, and i am going to do it once i get home tomorrow. what server are you on?

and, heck yeah, i got skills! getting killed by npc skills! not completing quest skills! getting ninja looted skills!

but i do have fun. ha!

u should try some of the more casual, social games that i have at the house. warioware, or the newest one i just got, ROCKBAND! actually, TRAUMA CENTER is a good one too. i think you'd like it.

Sweety, my last marketing book had chapters that took an hour to read. This semester's marketing chapters are so dense it takes me three. Maybe in summer i can play a little, but during school, now that all i have is 4000 level classes, I will take the A over a game in a thought. Yes, I'm anal.

add my char to your buddy list then if I'm online you can whisper me no matter where we are

my main character is Melinda Elessdill

although i play with my warrior alot these days as i really enjoy whacking stuff with big swords and hammers lol

guild wars is brill sometime i just log in and hang around the guild hall and chat to my guildies

its good fun lol

oh and all players are on the same side unless your doing pvp (player vs player) but that has its own areas

guild wars isn't overly complex at first but can be abit when you start getting into builds and all that stuff and there's no loot stealing as all loot is allocated to players evenly

i have prophies, nightfall and eye of the north now so i only have to get factions now and i have all the games

and you don't even have to play alot
snort you can play when your stressed and wanna beat things up and its really not hard to play the controls is easy to use

just try it before you say no ok?

it would be brilliant if we could all play together

I'll look into it, I just hate games. I dont play anything more complicated than spider solitaire.

i have been busy playing ROCKBAND. the drums are a good way to get rid of tension. and eardrums.

its really not that hard the basic is you use your mouse and click on a beastie then your character will attack said beastie

simple!

then there is using different attacks but that's just hitting a number key between 1 to 8

its really simple i promise you!

I'll give you green and gold weapons? (rare/valuable drops)

i think you'd be good with a monk keeping us all alive while we crack skulls lol
or an elementalist? shooting bolts of fire and lighting at beasties?

its a great stress reliever

when im peeved off i load my max level warrior and beat up beaties with my max glacial sword lol

I'll look at it tomorrow. Since the last storm my internet has been goofy, but it seems to be working ok now.

we haven't got rockband here yet but it looks really good I've played guitar hero on the wii but i was rubbish at it lol guess it takes lots of practise lol

Ive never played guild wars, I take it you'd recomend it then?
Ive been playing world of warcraft recently, which I have to admit, I LOVE.

lol, I used to be quite obsessed with guitar hero, and it does take a bit of getting used to, but once I got into it I got really hooked. I think rockband's out round may time in the UK, but its stupidly expensive, I definately wont be able to get it.

I'm still fighting you, just not on GW.

Guild Wars is great! We have a nice friendly guild, and it's free, no monthly fee like World of Wank Warcraft.

There are 4 games in the whole package, but you don't need them all at once, and they are cheap as chips these days.

It's as much about socialising as it is about actually playing, some nights i just go on and chat for hours. =p

yep we normally find heraldo standing in the guild hall chatting away lol

its good fun and aswell as having a large friendly guild we also have a great alliance which is when several other guilds ally with us

lol Heraldo, yea the WoW monthly fee is really annoying but I enjoy the game. Ooooo, guild wars sounds interesting, I might have to look into it when I get the chance, sounds like it may be my kind of thing.

i liket guld wars it is a good game just can't thinger half of it out so i gave it to mel lol
