Some of my art as well!

Hello all, I started this topic just to show some of my artwork, and possibly listen to some of your comments=)
Drawing is my life, I can't live without a paper and a pencil,unfortunately:) I enjoy drawing and hope you people will like it. Note I focus on dark atmosphere and pay great attention to the details, so dark stuff lovers might like it more:) Shall post some now and maybe more later!

First one is a kind of extreme widow commission I did for my Guild leader Andy whose character is Nora Bone;


Second one is an "edit" of the commission with a change on dress (I liked the clothes so much that I wanted to draw something mine in it:) );


Third one is just a concept art of how mesmers would look in Baroque times;


And finally the fourth is a drawing I did in a bad time in my life and eventually it helped me recover, and that's the reason I still draw;

Hello Again, I am back with more drawings=)

First one was one I drew to thank my mother (It might seem weird but it acctually represents a mother's sacrifice);


Second one is a mother mourning her fallen son,many believe I depicted Jesus and his mother, Maria, and I keep saying no!(Lyrics are from a Nightwish song called "Two for Tragedy";


Third one is my dream of how I would look if I lived in baroque times. Most probably,with such clothing,I would be considered a prostitute=P;


Last but not least, a happy one this time^.^ Dedicated to all loving couples!;

but as i draw alot of manga its the face i have to get perfect

It took me around 16 years! Almost since I was born...I have not attended any type of art school so it's all based on experience! I don't know I am just really connected with the way "express myself through pictures". Drawing makes me feel better,and I love whatever makes me feel good. I remember to reach the stage I am in at the moment,I needed to copy many times and even though my first attempts maaany years ago was manga, I made my own style of drawing...It all began from little happy houses and ridiculous Sailor Moon stick figures. I am sure you can notice the difference =P By the way a tip to all those who would like to start drawing is: Grab a mirror,(kiss yourself some times!..... Jokes!)make weird moves and try to depict them on paper! It is fun and it works!

And now one more drawing again dedicated to someone I love!(NOTE: I got inspired around 3 a.m and now it is almost 5 a.m...And funny thing is I drew this after a thriller movie:P) :

I'm going to criticize 'cos that's what I do. Ask anyone. Your details are wonderful, but they don't move. Your people are static, stiff.

This is the part where you hate me.

I think your proportions can be reasonable, but the joints are too tight. I suggest you buy, and this might seem awefully weird, but some porn mags. Study how bodies work around each other. Those photos aren't taken by accident. The photographer is looking for a design, nevermind the outcome.

I get your point, but giving the movement feeling is not easy on every drawing. I get it you mean somethig similar to Da Vinci's Mona Lisa who seems like she looks at you everywhere you go, right? I have done somethng similar and it was very tough. I always try to give this type of feeling yet I don't know how different it looks from a PC screen to a paper. If you mean anatomically, that's just studying the anatomy of a human and how each part works (yes,sometimes I make terrible mistakes)

I get it you means mean the joints in hands,knees and stuff? If yes,then yeah I have to fix that sometime soon... Next year I will go to art school so it's a chance for me to get some things right.

You are right, but I am not looking for design, I am drawing what I feel in a way I feel that suits it the best. Drawing is all about loving what you do. Personally I can't be forced to draw. If I am inspired on the other hand, I can fill a whole book =p

I didn't say that I know you, I don't know how obnoxious you are, but I like to be helped from someone experienced and older (as I assume you are)... I don't have a problem facing the truth even though all things have many faces and points to be viewed from (multi-truth ftw) . It's better to be honest really As I'd be honest towards you.

I'm so used to her i don't even notice anymore lol

although i can only remember her criticising me when I'm being told off for not coming online regularly lol

i can see what she means now that's its been mentioned but its all in the learning process

i cant shade as I've mentioned before so most of my art is sketches or line art

and as I've put so many years into it i cant draw anything but manga

I'm ok at drawing other peoples characters in many different poses but useless when i try to design my own lol

i guess its all about knowing your weaknesses and striving to improve them

my mate who's really good at design wants to design characters and write a story and have me draw a manga using them

I've found alot of free hosting for comics on the net but don't know if i will be able to keep to a deadline since if its not perfect in my eyes it wont see the light of day, scrap it and start again

what do you guys think?

Perfect is relative. Someone will like it, even if you don't.
