My fav film.
My fav film of all time is The Crow.
I rate it personally 10/10
Its about a man an a woman in love and they get murdered. Eric the dead guy then comes back to life via the crow
and takes revenge on the killers for murdering him and his girlfriend. Really cool film.

Re: My fav film.
Ace film!
although the 3 that came after is was rubbish
there's no way they could stand up to Branden Lee's (Bruce Lee's son) performance
and the fact that it was the film he died making

Re: My fav film.
It's tough to pick a favorite. I like Dr T and the Women, though it didn't make a lot of money (and in spite of oliver's performance in it. he thinks it was bad, i don't). I like a lot of films that get panned by critics, like The Fifth Element, though I don't usually like sci-fi.

Re: My fav film.
It is difficult to have an absolute favourite, but one's we always put on when stuck- iareThe Mummy or The Mummy Returns or The Scorpion king.
Re: My fav film.
havent seen Dr T and the women (first time i heared of it was when it was mentioned on family guy lol i didnt know what it was at the time now i know its a film lol)
filth element is great we have the collectors edition (errors a sci-fi buff lol)
earth girls are easy was so funny but ive only seen it once on late night tv
and the mummy series was ace i really enjoyed them
i havent really got a fave film when i try to think of one only anime pop into my head
maybe i should watch more movies and less anime lol

Re: My fav film.
SueySis, if u like "the Crow", we have the creator on from time to time. that film is from a comic he did to get over the death of his girlfriend, so it is really emotional to read.
i usually like sci-fi, but it's best if it has a little humor to it: men in black, brazil, buckaroo banzai, that type of thing.

Did I show you this comic before? I can't remember.
I'm glad you're still working.

I'm with you on Johnny and 50 First Dates. I've been to Sea Life Park and that area and love the islands. It's an obsession. That movie lets me relive my visits there, So does Lilo and Stitch.

Re: My fav film.
I've never seen lilo and stitch, its one that i wanted to see but never quite got to watch. My favourites at the moment are Sin City and 300, (going thru a frank miller phase i think ) but my all time favourite film is the Monty Python's Holy Grail, I've seen it so many times but it stills cracks me up every time.
Re: My fav film.
Ew, Sin City. Too gory for me. Isn't the sequel coming out soon? Mr Nice, didn't we talk about that?
Anything Monty Python is funny forever. I showed my kid, "The Life of Brian" and she was a little disturbed by the naked bits, but survived it and even laughed on the floor.

Re: My fav film.
Yea, Sin City is gory, its not the kind of thing I'd go for ordinarily, but I enjoyed it anyway, can't put my finger on why... Think the sequel's scheduled for 2009? something like that, it's still in pre-prodution so still a way off.
I'm a big Monty Python fan, The Life of Brian's great, my favourite character's Terry Jones's Hermit who yells 'my juniper bushes!' made me laugh anyway. Glad your daughter enjoyed it, I think its one of those films that you either love or hate.
But I just love the silliness of the Grail. Went to see the stage show Spamalot recently in London, and it was fantastic. I'd highly recommend it.

Re: My fav film.
no, no, not the knights who say ni!
i havent seen meet the spartans yet, looks good tho, will have to wait for it to come out on dvd.
spamalot was great, but the one i saw didnt have tim curry in it, i'd have loved it if he had been. in the one i saw king arthur was played by peter davison, who used to play doctor who.

Re: My fav film.
I think Tim Curry was in the Broadway production. That might be available on DVD somewhere, I'll have to go look.
I'm home alone this weekend as the hubs and kid went to see a buddy in Oklahoma. I'm so bored, I just might have to rumage through the collection and drag out a flick I haven't seen in a while.

i am a huge fan of monty python, and i have the scripts to the original series. i read them from time to time to remind me how clever i am not.
