hey, it's me, Mister Nice, and i am a friend of snort and her kid-let. she has been telling me about your forum for some time now, so here i am.

since it's pretty late here, i will try to read as much as i can before i fall asleep, then play catch up in the morning.

as for me, i am an actor. i have done several things that no one has seen, but i do have some nice projects coming out in the next few months (one of which is an anime that already has a nice cult following on the web. go me!)

other than that, i hope this finds everyone well and i look forward to meeting you all. (in an interweb kind of way. i am not flying to the other side of the world to say hi. that is expensive!)

i have done voices on a couple of anime, but the new one is 'beck: mongolian chop squad'. it's a pretty cool one, and the first one i really liked a lot.

i was out of town for a few days doing a gig, but now i am back and reading like crazy.

Uh oh, now I gotta explain that 'pimp' thing, before it gets weird...

What m'lady snorts is refering to, is a fledgling comic strip that I am working on called "Justice Pimp". It really has nothing to do with pimp-ery or anything of that sort, but instead was to be a parody of a superhero comic.

A friend of mine and I were talking about how silly heroes have gotten lately, with most of them basically being bad guys that supposedly fight for good. I started trying to put the most outlandish titles for a hero comic together, and the craziest one was "Justice Pimp", a reformed pimp who fights for justice using the power of the 27 different pimp slaps he has learned during his travels throughout the galaxy.

Did I mention it's a satire?

Well, three weeks ago, I trashed the whole thing and decided to start over from the beginning, with nothing but the title to guide me. Hopefully it will end up being something cool. Maybe I'll post the sketches I have so far in the art section...

(And for the record, I am against anything that degrades or objectifies women, including pimpification. Just putting that out there so you know. Women are beautiful, powerful creatures, and I don't wanna end up on their bad side.)

i will post some stuff next week, once i get thru this patch of work.

i have decided to use a new program to do some of the art, if i can just get it to work the way i want it to i can start accomplishing something.

i gave up on trying to figure out the time difference. i just refer to it as if you are all from the future, and you're transmitting back to me in the past. your knowledge will not be wasted, wise ones from the future!

well snort said the the uk is 5 hours ahead of the us and she keeps sending me msn messages at 5 in the morning asking me if im awake lol

i tend to just do it on paper then scan my pics into the computer

im useless at drawing on the computer lol

My husband informs me that we are GMT -6 right now. I was wrong. We'll be -5 in a few weeks when we go off Daylight Savngs Time.

i do a little of both, sometimes i do pencil and ink drawings on paper and then scan them into the computer, sometimes i use a wacom tablet and draw in painter, and sometimes i use the tablet to draw in manga studio. i am tryingto figure out manga studio, because if i could use that it would be a one stop solution to producing a comic strip.

and wouldn't gmt-6 be like eight hours difference? snort has been waking you up like crazy!!!

i have a tablet but im useless at it because the is a few second delay between you drawing it and it appearing on the screen i just cant seem to get used to this lol

she doesnt wake me as my computer is in mikes office with his computer and shannons computer as well as others that are in bits theres about 6 computers in here working and not and then theres all the computer bits lol thats why i make sure mikey keeps all computers in one room lol

i wake up quite alot in the mornings to find "are you awake waiting for me on my screen when i turn it on lol

Mr Nice's stuff is suddenly in huge demand, but with the American Writer's strike, things have been put on hold. At least that's what he told me when we had lunch in December. I hope that soon things will explode for him, the way we've been envisioning for a couple of years.
