Re: Paganism
The International Program doesn't teach American students how to work in a foreign country, it teaches its students how to take an American Corporation to Asia and exploit the cheap labor. Pure Imperialism.
It took four weeks into my second International class to realize that that was the reason I was so uncomfortable and increasingly angry.
I feel much better now, though.

Re: Paganism
true, the universe often opens itself to me when it is the appropriate time, but often i feel as though i am the one not rushing through that opening fast enough.
and now, with the strike ending, we will see what awaits on the other side. success? non-success? cake?
hmmm... cake.

Re: Paganism
No gluten-free anymore, yea!!! A. can make you a cake now for your birthday like she wanted to last year. She'll be so happy.
Back to Paganism, my head today made a major turn for the better. My brain is finally back to working faster than my mouth. A minor annoyance that I can happily live with. So I stutter a little when I'm excited about an idea, so what?
I've been meditating in the mornings when I wake up, which is two hours before everyone else. I picked up two books at this great store Oliver took me to that haven't had a chance to read, but the pictures are great. The weather has been shameless here, hot cold hot cold and oh yeah snow, but it will be 80 tomorrow,... deal with it....but Spring is right THERE, we can taste it. Hooray, hooray!!!

Re: Paganism
Hey, it's the first time I post in here... So,traditionally, my family always admired the "Mighty 12 Ancient Greek Gods" which is Paganistic of some sort. They forced me to study many religions and let me choose one of it. I chose my religion to be "my ideas". I believe in a God,as a form of energy, but I am not christian. I love nature and consider mother earth a mighty power with lots of beauties but I am not Pagan. Some of you may think this is some crazy combination of religions I have in mind. I think it's the best for me, it's good to love whatever you want instead of being brainwashed that "this and this is not according to you religion!".

Re: Paganism
that's the great thing about today's freedom you can worship who you want and how you want
as long and you don't hurt yourself or anyone else then its your business and yours alone
to be honest your ideas sound lot like the way alot of pagans believe lol
the dictionary describes paganism as any non christian based religion
so going by that all religions that are not derived from Christianity are pagan
but everyone describes themselves differently and that's fine
variety is the spice of life after all lol

Re: Paganism
I've been in a crisis myself, for many months. I feel like I've lost some connection to life that I need, but at the same time, I'm not missing it that much. I guess I'm going through a little bit of a selfish stage. Since it started last october, maybe it will go away this one.

Re: Paganism
I think Paganism is more likely described as "Material Worshiping" by people who do not know a thing about religions! Christiany is supposedly on the spiritual side! But also certain types of paganism are focusing on the spiritual side of the human and MUCH more than Christianity

Re: Paganism
You can refuse to believe it if you choose, but I can carry 20+ lbs pretty easily under baggy shirts. I'm back down to 15 lbs over today.
Yay.
Yay.

Re: Paganism
Update, I'm finally on antibiotics for this stealth respiratory thing I've been carrying for the past 8 months (no fever? must not really be sick). I'm hoping that as my body heals and slides away from survival mode, that the extra weight will fall off .
