Re: Guild Wars
The kiddo has just about worn out her guitar on Guitar hero already. The first button isn't working right. You hear that Oliver? She's coming after you!
My puter was coughing and spewing fro a couple of weeks and I went in, deleted a bunch of programs, especially the games the kiddo loaded on here, ran scandisk and defrag and now I have my puter back. I'm afraid to load games on because they so often drag me down with hidden crap that's constantly running in the tubes of my CPU, even when the game's not pulled up.

Re: Guild Wars
yeah i get that with free downloadable games
but they cant add that stuff to games sold in store
guild wars doesn't take up much cpu usage we can even run it on shannon's computer and that's the worse one in the house =)
and Kate you played the game for an hour lol you didn't even dent the content lol you didn't even leave the tutorial lol
you can still play if you wanna give it another go i still have your account I'm just using it for mules atm lol
and if anyone does decide to give it ago add me to your Buddie list when you log in and if I'm online whisper me
I'll head straight to you and show you around and sort you out with some stuff ok?
my character name is: Sakura Elessdill (shes my warrior with the primeval armour set lol)
the amount of random greens that are dropping these days id rather give them to a friend that merch them

I can do it sometimes, but not into a microphone. The sound of my own voice coming back at me is icky.

Re: Guild Wars
I sang into the microphone finally. Oliver made me when we played Rock Band at his house the other day. I hated it, didn't even finish the song. Held the mic up for him.

Re: Guild Wars
Guild wars is a so fantastic game,so balanced and so interesting... There are people who play like 3 years and others who can't take it because they get bored and simply can't find ways to improve... You can find pleasure in simplest things like; Dressing your character or make some screenshots and edit them! Like I do with my mesmer!... Then again comes the PvE with unfolding a crazy stoooory and PvP where you challenge several people online. The professions are very much balanced in my opinion and what you choose is what you like and what expresses you - You can choose from summoner of elements who can deal supreme damage with a single spell a.k.a Elementalists, to an eremite with a scythe who turns himself into avatars of Gods a.k.a Dervish! The nicest thing on this game is the opportunity to make your own strategy and use it effecttively but nothing can be done from the start perfectly. Practice makes perfect and you need patience to improve! And of course one lovely thing is having a guild you like and you have fun in it. I am a guild hall sitter, I sit in there having chats about lots of stuff and always find an open hug when I am disappointed or ashamed (Home sweet home). If you wish to join Guild Wars, I recommend it! It's fun and serious at the same time and it's interesting! Don't forget if you need a run to an outpost just call me and I'll give you a flight with Pretty Airlines (Don't worry it's not some weird new game feature nor I am crazy, running is like something you do to proceed in game faster leaving some things behind so I do not recommend it for new players)Haha and...Mesmers for the win! Be purple,be pretty,be mesmer! (It's so cool wearing frilly stuff and bulky skirts while fighting in high heels!)Enjoy! (Whoa some big text O.o)

Re: Guild Wars
Dungeons and Dragons. In High School I had a group of freinds who begged me to come play, and i refused. I don't know what it is, I just hate games, to the depth and bredth of my soul.
Performance anxiety, maybe.

Re: Guild Wars
you're wasting your breath, she won't do it. she hates games, and by extension, must hate having fun, but that can't be true? she must like to have fun, which means she would try to play a game, right? i bet i can find a game she'd like...
Re: Guild Wars

Re: Guild Wars
I have a different kind of game. It involves live people and hurts no one. Mr Nice knows more than he's letting on,.... my energies are better served elsewhere.

Re: Guild Wars
still haven't played guild wars yet, but i did finish metal gear solid 4 over the weekend. it's an acquired taste, but i love those games. i've been playing a lot, since i had knee surgery last thursday. i don't recommend it, since now i am stuck on the sofa all day, until it heals up a bit.
i thought snorts might like rockband, but she quit halfway thru her first song, then i thought she might like dance dance revolution, but she wouldn't even try it. i'm starting to think her game of choice might be "old maid".
